Project Details

This project covers the full rehabilitation of the 84km stretch of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway from the Shagamu interchange in Ogun State to Ibadan in Oyo State.

Key objectives include:
- Reconstruction of failed pavement sections.
- Asphalt overlay of the entire dual carriageway.
- Expansion of lanes at critical choke points.
- Repair and installation of road furniture, including signage, lane markings, and streetlights.
- Improvement of drainage systems to prevent flooding.

This is a critical national infrastructure project aimed at reducing travel time, improving road safety, and boosting economic activity along the corridor.
